What does Twin Eagle Solutions actually do for industrial communications?

We are a full-stack industrial communications integrator serving industrial operators across oil & gas, water/wastewater, utilities, mining, and adjacent industries. We design wireless networks, integrate the hardware end-to-end (survey, engineer, select, fabricate, provision, install — enclosures, skids, trailers, and process cabinets), put it in the field with our own certified climbers and manlift crews, commission and document it, and then back it with 24/7 emergency callout and dispatch support staffed by the same in-house engineers who designed and built it — no tier-1 helpdesk in between. One vendor — design, build, and operate.

Microwave, PTMP, mesh, or private LTE — which one do we need?

It depends on distance, density, and traffic. Cambium microwave is our go-to for high-capacity backhaul between hub sites. Cambium 450M PTMP with 450i subscribers handles pad-to-hub coverage, typically 15–20 Mbps aggregate per pad. TropOS 6420 self-healing mesh with 1420 / 2420 / M411 endpoints fills in resilient field-area coverage. Private LTE / 5G is used where high-density mobile coverage is required. Most real oilfield networks use a hybrid of two or three of these — and that's what we design.

Do you use your own climbers or do you sub it out?

We use in-house certified climbers across multiple basins. Tower work, antenna installs, audits, lighting, and emergency response are all performed by Twin Eagle crews — not subcontractors. That's how we keep quality, schedule, and accountability under one roof.

Can you integrate with our existing Cisco or Fortinet environment?

Accepted Answer

Yes — and not just Cisco or Fortinet. We can integrate with virtually any network environment the operator already runs. Network engineering is core to what we do — multi-vendor routing, switching, and security across the full OSI stack: Layer 1 physical media, Layer 2 fabric, Layer 3 routing (heavy BGP utilization with Layer 3 assistance routing), Layer 4 transport, all the way up to Layer 7 application-aware policies and QoS. We frequently model complex configurations in our home-lab on MikroTik hardware first, then translate and deploy into production with zero impact to live traffic.

Do you do SCADA engineering?

We don't engineer SCADA applications, write SCADA logic, or provide SCADA platform services. What we do engineer are the SCADA networks themselves — designed, built, and managed for reliable, robust SCADA data transfer end-to-end. That means Cisco switching in every process cabinet, segmented VLANs, BGP-routed backhaul, and the radio links that actually carry your telemetry. SCADA platform engineering and SCADA network engineering are different disciplines, and we own the network.

What kind of uptime do you deliver?

Network uptime starts at the engineering stage. We design industrial networks targeting at least five nines (99.999%) of reliability — built around redundant paths, self-healing mesh, sized link budgets, and pre-positioned spares — and then defend that design with 24/7 callout and dispatch support from the same engineers who built it. As a real-world reference, the multi-basin process control network we design, build, and manage for a premier oil & gas operator has averaged 99.999% uptime across the Eagle Ford and Permian since 2019.

Do you handle FCC licensing and frequency coordination?

Yes — end to end. We manage FCC licensing applications, frequency coordination, and ongoing compliance for licensed bands so operators don't have to track filings, renewals, or interference disputes themselves.

Do you build the enclosures or just install equipment?

Accepted Answer

We build them. Our shop pre-builds NEMA 3R / 4 / 4X enclosures with radios, switches, power, surge, and grounding all wired and bench-tested before crews mobilize. The result is fewer trips, faster cutovers, and a cleaner, more serviceable install in the field.

What does 'proactive managed services' actually include?

24/7 emergency callout and dispatch support, rapid remote fault isolation when an operator calls, hardware dispatch with in-house climbers and field engineers, remote Cisco router and SCADA-cabinet switch recovery, scheduled preventive maintenance, configuration backups and documented change management, vendor TAC escalation, pre-positioned spares, and centralized IP / VLAN / subnet governance — over 99% of the IP addresses on the networks we manage are reserved, tracked, and provisioned directly by Twin Eagle.

We provide projects and services across the lower 48 states, with active operations across the Permian (Delaware and Midland), Eagle Ford, and other North American basins. Our climbers and field engineers are mobilized regionally so dispatch times stay short.

Can we start with consulting before committing to a build?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many engagements start as an RF survey, a path study, or an architecture review — and only become a design-build engagement after the operator sees the analysis. We'd rather tell you what you actually need than sell you a stack you don't.
